• POSITION 1:
  Junior Mechanical Designer (0-5 years experience)
  Assist in the design and development of flight simulation hardware. Candidates need to be organized and able to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  
  Daily activities will include:
  · 3D design
  · Creating 2D drawings
  · Creating BOMs
  · Documentation
  · Troubleshooting
  · Reverse engineering
  · Communicating with suppliers and customers
  · Sourcing components
  · Assembling prototypes
  
  Design work is done in Solidworks and Onshape but experience with any 3D CAD product is acceptable.
  
  Job requirements:
  · Excellent organizational skills.
  · Good attention to detail.
  · Clear communication in English.
  · Strong teamwork skills.
  · Proficient in 3D modeling software (Inventor, Solidworks, Onshape, etc).
  · Ability to think “outside the box” to come up with unique solutions to design challenges.
  · Experience with 3D printing is an asset.
  · Sheet metal design experience is an asset.
  
  Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  Pay: $22.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 42.5 per week

  General Manufacturing Support
  Support all aspects of simulator production and quality assurance
